WThe workout programs on Livestrong T1xe is limited with only six programs include Manual, Target Heart Rate, Fat Burn, 5K, Rolling Hills, and the challenging Gerkin Protocol. The Gerkin Protocol program is something special on Livestrong T1x as this program is based on tests used with firefighters and targets for cardiopulmonary health. Extra Accessory – Only The 7” TV sceen
Livestrong T1xe treadmill is lack of entertainment with only the 7” LCD screen integrated on it. This is the only different compare with Livestrong T1x but this additional TV console cost about $1,000 more. Think about it before get it.
Warranty – Limited Warranty Although With 3-Years In Home Labor Coverage
The labor warranty is awesome with up to 3 years in home labor warranty which indicate that Livestrong is very confident on the treadmill. However, the overall warranty package is limited with only 5 years frame & motor, 3 yrs parts and labor in total. This is truly a concern when you consider that other manufacturers offer 10-year warranties or better on their motors and frame.
Additional note, the warranty is only valid when the treadmill has been used for six hours per day or less.
Price – Not Worth For the Big Price Tag
With same specification and features, the Livestrong T1xe is cost about $1,000 more compare with Livestrong T1xe but includes the 7″ LCD + TV screen instead of the LED display. This is really not worth for money especially you are going to pay for a small TV screen but actually you can have a full size HD TV set up in your exercise room.
Note: A good point to mention about Livestrong treadmill is a portion of their sales go to help Lance Armstrong’s Cancer foundation which is nice.
Wrap-up – Not Recommended Unless On Sales
The Livestrong T1xe is not worth for the money especially with the asking price of $6,195. It does not match up the commercial treadmill competition where you can get more features, variety of workout programs and longer warranty coverage at others light commercial and commercial treadmills. The warranty is one of the main concerns and you need at least 10-years protection on the motor as this is the main bond of your treadmill. For $6,000 plus big price tag, we would recommend you shop around for others proven commercial treadmill like Precor, Landice and LifeFitness unless Livestrong T1xe is going for sales.
